DESCRIPTION:

Volunteers will help spruce up the offices of East Rock Institute (ERI), the oldest non-profit organization in the U.S. devoted to Korean and Korean Diaspora Culture. ERI occupies a beautiful historic landmark home in New Haven, CT, near the heart of the Yale University campus. Participants will help paint the interior, plant a garden, help move furniture, and perform other miscellaneous tasks to help make the office run better and make it a nice place for guests to visit. Participants will also help organize the largest archive of printed materials on Korean culture outside of the Korean peninsula, helping to preserve this precious resource for future generation.
No special skills are required, and all ages are welcome. Just bring your good cheer, and weather appropriate gear, depending on whether you choose to spend time indoors or outdoors.
Following a fun morning, please join the ERI staff and volunteers for a boxed Korean lunch.

Thank you!
